In order to minimise the spread of the coronavirus all museums of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden remain closed until 20 April 2020.

The Skulpturensammlung is present in several places: in the Albertinum, the collection from 1800 is part of the exhibition of Art from Romanticism to the Present. The sculptures from classical antiquity to Baroque in the Albertinum are accessible in the Study Depot Antiquity. In the Semperbuilding (Zwinger), Mengs collection of casts and masterpieces from the Renaissance and Baroque periods can be seen.
