Skulpturensammlung up to 1800

The reopened Semperbau am Zwinger houses the Skulpturensammlung (Sculpture Collection) up to 1800 with antique pictorial works as well as sculptures and statues of the early modern period in common with the masterpieces of the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister. The mutually stimulating interaction between painting and sculpture can be vividly experienced during the museum tour.
